Huntington Library

click photo to enlarge		 Friends here in California have been asking me if we had ever been to the Huntington Library. Well, we finally got around to going and now I understand why. It is a Library, Art  collections and Botanical Gardens. We never even made it into the library the grounds were so stunning.

click photo to enlarge		 We spent most of our time wandering the Botanical Gardens. It was a great December day a few days after Christmas. The air was clear, temperatures in the low 60's and sunny. The gardens cover over 150 acres. 

click photo to enlarge		 This is one of the Bonsai trees. The photo was taken and cropped to just show the tree in order that you get lost in the size of the tree. This is only at most 2 feet high.

click photo to enlarge		 We did finally make it inside for a little bit. But we spent most of time wandering the gardens. We will have to go back again some day.
