Well, it looks like this is going to be a yearly thing. This is the third year in a row that Ofoto has sent me a coupon for a discount on a calendar in October. So... I had to pick out 12 photos from my 2004 shots and here they are. The best of 2004.

This is taken from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon

This is the New Zealand coast line along the southern shore of the south island. This was a trip we had been talking about for quite a long time and we finally made it. We both would like to go back again.

This is right before sunset at Coral Pink Sand Dunes Utah State park. Just outside of Kanab. I knew the colors would be more dramatic so we went just before sunset.

Canyon DeChelly (pronounced deshay) in the Indian Lands of north east Arizona. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go down into the canyon hiking. Only drive around the upper rim. But, we'll go back.

These Indian Petroglyphs can be found just a little ways outside of Laughlin Nevada. It is a few miles down a dirt road then about a 1/2 mile hike up Grapevine Canyon. There is also a trail to hike Spirit Mountain which also is for another trip. Laughlin is one of our favorite inexpensive long weekend getaways. We can get rooms at the casinos often for $22 a nite, food is very reasonable and entertainment is cheap. Since we don't gamble we don't have to worry about losing money in the casinos.

Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Gardens. This place is about 4 miles from the house. We g there in July and August on Thursday nights for free concerts in the gardens. After finally getting around to going through the place this past spring it is also something we will likely repeat this coming spring.
