Maloof House

  

click photo to enlarge		 This was the home of Sam and Alfreda Maloof. Sam is a furniture maker and his wife was an artist. The historic home and grounds are now open for tours. A new residence Sam built is also on the grounds. 

click photo to enlarge		 This original structure had to be relocated when they built the I 210 freeway. Since it was a historic building the state had to pay the bill to move it to it's new location.

click photo to enlarge		 You are not allowed to take pictures inside the home so unfortunately all I could do was the outside. While the house is quite beautiful it is Sam's furniture that is the real work of art.
