Mission San Luis Rey

  

click photo to enlarge		 The Mission San Luis Rey is located just outside Oceanside. The mission was built in 1768 and was the largest of the California Missions. 

click photo to enlarge		 Weekend Mass is held every Saturday night in the large chapel at 5:30 in English and at 7:00 in Spanish.

click photo to enlarge		 The mission has a self guided tour map. However the area in this picture is off limits. It is a private area for retreats.
