There a re a lot of small airports in the area. Most of them have a restaurant. The
name of the restaurant at this airport is Norm's hanger. This particular
airfield is in LaVerne.

On the third Sunday of every month they also have an antique aircraft and
car show.

It was a wonderful fall morning to sit outside and eat while enjoying the mountain
scenery and watching the small airplanes landing and taking off.

After breakfast we wandered around looking at the cars and planes.

While talking to the the guy who owned this plane he was telling us how it went
up in value. This plane was over 50 years old and was worth more then it cost
when new.
