Mission San Miguel

  

click photo to enlarge		 We are slowly visiting all of the 21 California Missions. This one is Mission San Miguel Archangel . The mission is closed due to damage caused by an earthquake in 2003 but we were able to walk around the outside of the grounds.

click photo to enlarge		 The grounds are really quite stunning and I hope they are able to re-open soon.

click photo to enlarge		 This is the bell tower which has obviously been restored and made to look old.

click photo to enlarge		 I couldn't resist taking this reflection in a mud puddle.<grin> The water was only about 1 foot wide but when the camera lens is only an inch above it the, puddle looks like a lake.
