This was the fifth California mission founded by Father Junipero Serra, on Sept.
1, 1772. This will probably be the last mission page posted for a while since
we have now been to all but the closest one in the San Fernando Valley.

This mission is right in the middle of town and very hard to photograph
since there are buildings all around it.

This mission, like a few of the others, is still a working Parish with
services held here weekly.

The gardens are pretty small as compared to some of the other missions.
