Well, I finally found a place to try shooting a baseball game. The results are
pretty good.

I used a monopod and a long lens to take these shots. I think I should have
panned along with the players to get them to be a little sharper.

Oh well, another time. One of the things that really struck me about this
little adventure was watching them get ready to play. They sure had a lot
of new expensive looking gear to warm up with. Guess I must be getting old
because we didn't have any of this stiff when I was a kid.

I was pretty happy I was able to bring third base in this close from where I
was standing way over by first base.
