This series of pictures is taken at the Applewhite Campgrounds in the San Bernardino
National Forest. It was a beautiful winter day in Southern California so we
packed up breakfast and went off to the mountains to cook it.

Heh, as you can see we pretty much had the place to ourselves which is a
rarity anyplace in SCAL.

We built a little campfire even though it was warm outside.

We used to do this fairly often when we lived in Ohio but this was the first
time in the 6 years we have been living in California. I'm sure we'll do it
more often now as we had a very nice morning.

But I doubt that we'll find it this empty again. In Ohio we would take the
cross country skis with us in the winter time.
