Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands National Park is divided into 4 different areas, the Island in the
Sky the Needles, the Maze and the rivers themselves. These pictures are all
taken in the Island in the Sky area as it was the only area we had time to
explore. What a fun looking road, made me wish we had the Subaru to go
exploring.

The Canyonlands was carved out by the Colorado river and it's tributaries.
This entire day we could see storms off in the distance but we never got a
drop of rain on us.

You could see for miles and miles from atop the many mesas. It was
designated a National Park in 1964.
