Chloride Arizona is one of our favorite living ghost towns. The sky in these
pictures is very typical of what we see every time we go. They claim to have
something like 350 days of sun a year. Yesterdays is a wonderful restaurant
and we have had some very good times here. We have even stayed in the rustic
accommodations at Shep's Miners Inn. On this trip a local was explaining to us
how the restaurant at one time was a repair station for stage coaches. He
showed us the rings on the ceiling beams that were used to hoist the coach off
it's carriage. |

The owner of the restaurant and Inn was telling us about their New Year's
Eve party and we decided we would like to go there for this bash. Chloride
was on the The Butterfield Stage route. |

In past postings I have included some of the antique yard art, the local
cemeteries and Roy Purcell's Famous Murals. Karen likes to go to the local
silver smith's shops. |
