William S. Hart Ranch and Museum

  

click photo to enlarge		 The William S. Hart Ranch and Museum is located Newhall just north of Los Angeles off the I5 freeway. This is another one of those things we saw on TV's Huell Howser show and decided top stop when we were out near it.

click photo to enlarge		 It was the William S. Hart, silent film cowboy star and director,  home and ranch.  The Ranch sits atop a hill within a large park area. Admission is free and the have guided tours of the mansion.

click photo to enlarge		 I'm really not sure why the Bison are there but they are. The views from the Hilltop are really quite stunning.
