Crystal Cathedral

Karen had never toured the Crystal Cathedral so we went to visit. The
buildings and campus are fascinating to see and go through. We had been there
at night for their Christmas show that is a real extravaganza and well worth
seeing. The building in the reflection is the visitors center and museum. |

Not only are the buildings interesting but the artwork around the campus is
also very good. It seems they are also suffering a bit from the bad economy.

The pipe organ has over 16,000 pipes. The cathedral is where the broadcast
the "Hour of Power" TV show. Dr. Schuller started his ministry preaching
on top of a snack stand at a drive in movie theater. |
