One of the bad parts about a short trip is you don't have a lot of time. This
was a gorgeous drive along the old Columbia River Highway. The falls were
great but the lighting I had for pictures was awful so you do what you can
with what you are given. This first falls is Latourell Falls a 249 foot falls. |

This is the stream after coming down Bridal Veil Falls. The falls is about a
3/4 mile round trip hike. The trail is very well maintained. |

Left is Bridal Veil Falls, below left Multnomah Falls and below Horse Tail
falls. The Columbia River Gorge Highway is a spectacular drive. The stone
work along the roadway, the beautiful scenery and of course Crown Point
Vista House. We had a morning to drive it and that was it. By the
Multnomah Falls is the Lodge completed in 1925. It is a 2-1/2 story rustic
structure that includes bathroom, gift shop, park information and food. |
