The Santa Rosa Ecological Reserve is about 50 miles south of home so when I left I was hoping the sky would be a little clearer. When I arrived if anything the fog was even heavier then it was at home. I thought oh man this is going to make for lousy pictures. The Reserve is in Riverside county and covers more then 8,000 acres.

The Reserve has the oldest standing structures in Riverside County that once served as bunkhouses for cowboys dating back to 1846. These two adobe structures remain shaded by a 400 year old tree and separated by a picnic area where I had lunch.

As far as photographs I knew big sweeping panoramic shots wouldn't work so I concentrated on what I thought would, close ups. There were spider webs all over the place that normally you would not even notice but since they were covered with water droplets they really stuck out.
