This trip was all about taking time to explore. Entering Arizona from the east
you start with all kinds of tourist traps, many still in business. These were
designed with the kids in mind. Get them to bug the parents to stop. I mean
what little kid riding in the back seat could resist this place. Dinosaurs
munching on people, Free petrified wood and Ostriches. |

HERE IT IS !!... Heh, the Jack Rabbit Trading post used to have signs all
along route 66 telling you how far to the Jack Rabbit Trading post until you
finally got there. Here I am riding the bigger then life Jack Rabbit. They
really do a nice job here with finding and selling unusual merchandise for
the Route 66 traveler. |

Of course you must stop and see the tribute to the Eagles song and "Stand
on a Corner in Winslow Arizona'. But there is also the Twin Arrows Trading
Post and Two Guns and Diablo Canyon Arizona, oh and don't forget Wynona. |
