Cowboy stadium is the home of the Dallas Cowboys. This thing is massive and
was built at a cost of $1.3 billion dollars. The viewing screen in the
center of the stadium is the largest high definition television screen in the
world measuring 160 feet wide by 72 feet tall, with 10,584,064 LEDs on each of
the two sides. This video board weight in at 1.2 million pounds. I had Karen's
point and shoot camera with me so these pictures are not the greatest. |

This place has over 3,000 LCD screens all over the stadium so you don't have
to miss any of the action. On the tour you can go down on the field and into
the locker rooms of the players and the cheerleaders. |

The stadium seats 80,000 people and maximum capacity including standing
room is 110,000. It has a retractable dome. The dome opens or closes in 12
minutes. The day we were there is was 102 degrees outside and it was cool
inside the stadium. That is some serious air conditioning. The stadium is
3 million square feet. The glass doors at each end also open and are the
largest operable glass doors in the world at 180 feet wide by 120 feet
tall. |
