Descanso Gardens is right off the 210 freeway in La Canada Flintridge.
Descanso Gardens is on 150 acres that were owned by Los Angels Daily News
publisher E. Manchester Boddy. His 22 room mansion is still on the property
today and open for tours. |

There is something in bloom pretty much any time of the year. I went to
photograph the cherry trees in bloom but I was a few weeks early and not many
were blooming yet. |

They have a number of different areas, the Japanese garden, California
Garden, Iris Garden, Rose Garden and more. There is always something to
photograph. |
