The Huntington is a library, art collections and botanical gardens. After I
selected pictures for this page I realized I had selected all cacti and
animals. There were many other beautiful gardens too. It had been lightly
raining on this morning and the sky was very overcast. This makes for very
nice color saturation in photos in particular if you do not include the white
sky. |

The botanical gardens are 120 acres in size and include the Desert Gardens,
Japanese Gardens, Rose Gardens, Chinese Gardens, Subtropical Gardens and
more. This was our third time there and again we spent our time wandering
the gardens. We have gone through the art collections but it tends to be
more of an afterthought. One of these times we will go with the idea of
exploring the art collections and let the gardens be the after thought. |
