Maybe this should have been called Mazda HOT days because it was smoking hot.
Our car club held a car shows at a dealer in Puente Hills so it was also
billed Mazda Fun Days. There were some pretty unique Mazda vehicles there like
the rotary powered pickup truck to the left.

This green Capella rotary couple was a Japan only vehicle, notice the
steering wheel on the wrong side. It was made in 1970 and 1971 only. It
would later become the basis for the Mazda 626 in the US and world markets.

Of course since it was a Miata car show there were plenty of Miata's on
display too. The picture below is a Mazda 626 and you can see the
resemblance with the Capella above. They had food, entertainment and
vendors. There were also nice prizes for the car show
