We are going to Carpentaria for a farm tour on Saturday. So on Friday we went
just a little bit further to visit Santa Barbara. The first stop was "La
Super-Rica Taqueria" for lunch. It is a very tiny Mexican restaurant a friend
had told us about and we have seen Huell Howser there before. I can just hear
him saying..."Well look at that Louie isn't that amazing?" The food was amazing
too... and I would certainly go there again. |

We went to The Santa Barbara Botanic Garden after lunch. The gardens were
very nice but we were a bit surprised at how small the place was. Luckily it
wasn't very crowded. The flower fields were very pretty. We went past the
mission so had to stop to see it and take a few pictures. |

We went back to Santa Barbara for dinner after checking into our motel. We
went to a restaurant that was featured on the food network Triple D show and
of course it was good. The shot in the lower left corner is near sunset at
the beach. everybody points their cameras towards the sun and I look the
other direction for the color. It was a kind of boring sunset though. |
