We had a morning to spend in Seward before getting on the cruise ship in the
afternoon. Our first stop was the Seward library to view a video the had on the Good Friday Earthquake. Seward is not a very large town
with a population of about 2,700 people. |

We rode around Seward on a free shuttle they had for tourists. Again, so far
everything in Alaska has been very easy and smooth. We left our bags at the
hotel desk and they would get transferred to our room on board ship. After
arriving at the terminal to board our ship we knew this was going to be
different because there were no large crowds of people. In fact we were they
only ones in the terminal. |

Walking into our room on board ship we were amazed at how large it was with
a king size bed, a large walk in closet, a bathroom with separate shower and
tub and a large sitting / eating area. We have cruised before but nothing
like this. This was the smallest ship we have ever cruised on and the
nicest. |
