The Havasu community first started as an Army Air Corps rest camp during World War II on the shores of Lake Havasu. One of the well known attractions is the London Bridge. Now, this is not the famous bridge where Big Ben sat but was an actual bridge in London that was going to be replaced. It was purchased by Robert McCulloch, disassembled with all bricks being numbered and then reassembled here. Next to the bridge is an little English looking tourist village. While we were there they were having a Big Boys Toys show going on and wow did they have some pretty cool big boys toys with big price tags to match. There were also a lot of people coming into town because the next week they were going to be hosting the World Jet Ski Races.
