So we are driving out in the Upper Desert and we passed something that caught
my eye... after a mile or so I thought.. hey.. I need to go back and see what that was.
I still am not sure exactly what it was but it was quirky for sure. There was
a sign that read in Memory of Freddy Fender 1937 to 2006 in reference to
Fender Guitars inventor and another that read "In memory of Victor Avila
1986-2011". It is kind of a small replica of an old west town and has swings
for kids but then has a saloon and other things geared more for adults. The
name is Jack-O-Landia.. we still have no idea what it is but this is why we
like the desert. The place is located on Old Woman Springs Road in Lucerne
Valley and L'ill Umberto enjoy it till he hit the Last Stop. He hung around
there for a while and that's no Bull. |
