The Rialto Historical Society's headquarters and museum are located in a former church school building next door to the Old First Christian Church, now known as The Kristina Dana Hendrickson Cultural Center, on the corner of Riverside Avenue and 2nd Street. When we were driving Route 66 in the Inland Empire in 2014 we stopped but by the time we got there is  was closed. Like many small museums they are run by volunteers so are not open that many days or hours.

The museum has displays depicting a turn of the century home, a citrus exhibit and packing house office, military display with medals and uniforms, and an early 20th century doctor's office with a display of medical instruments. If you are lucky you will get in to see the attached church also. The displays in the museum and the Church are well worth visiting. I posted a photo of the outside of the Church last year during a rather stormy looking day found here.

While in the downtown area we noticed an old time hardware store called Johnson's so we went in and wandered around. It was a true old time hardware with all kinds of individual pieces and parts. So nice to see these kids of places still making a go of it in our world of big box stores.
