Our travel companion, L'ill Umberto, scoped out his ride for the afternoon. Being the good humans we are, we went along with him for the ride in these 3 wheel scooters to the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. We have been there a few times over the years but never in a ride quite like this and Karen drove while I sat with L'ill Umberto. It was another unusual day for taking photos. |

Red Rock Canyon was designated as Nevada's first National Conservation Area. Red Rock Canyon is located 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. The area is visited by more than two million people each year and even a few aliens. The park has a 13 mile scenic loop drive and a lot of hiking trails and rock climbing areas. |

Driving the 3 wheel scooters through Red Rock was a lot of fun and of course I got it through Groupon so the costs was reasonable. The day was spectacular weather wise, warm but not hot and wonderful clouds for taking photos. L'ill Umberto was close to Area 51 where he seemed to have adopted us a few years ago so he was happy too. |
