Warner Brothers Studio Tour

  

click photo to enlarge		 Again it was Groupon that caused me to spent the money for this tour. It was an overcast day which makes for flat pictures but helps keep the temperature cool and comfortable. If you are visiting the Los Angeles area and in particular Hollywood, you should take one of the studio tours. It is really fascinating to see these outdoor street scenes and many of them you will realize are not even real buildings. We entered the school building and there was a hallway that was used for many scenes in the movies but the rooms were all just a shell inside. They can change what the buildings look like on the outside depending on what they are shooting.

click photo to enlarge		 We also got to go in two of the sound stages. One was where they shoot the series, The Big Bang Theory. The steps and elevator you often see in the series is actually only one small area. There really isn't more then the one flight of stairs. We also got to go in Ellen's sound stage and where her series is shot. We were not allowed to take pictures in the sound stages. We were there on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet as nothing was being shot that day.
