Pasadena has been having a Chalk Festival for 25 years now. I often put it on our calendar but usually something else comes up and we never get to go. Well... we finally made it and it was smoking hot like 95 degrees. On the cement, in the sun it was more like 125 degrees. Because of that we went early when it first opened which mean some of the artwork was not completed yet. In 2010, The Pasadena Chalk Festival was officially named the largest street painting festival by the Guinness World Record, welcoming more than 600 artists using over 25,000 sticks of chalk and drawing a crowd of more than 100,000 visitors in one weekend. |

Adam West had recently passed away so there were a few Batman Adam themed artworks and of course because of the Wonder Woman movie a few of Gal Gidot as Wonder Woman. I think next time we will go maybe on the Monday after the festival is over as I suspect they are all still there and less people. |
