Riverside Festival of Lights

click photo to enlarge		 The Festival of Lights is at the Mission Inn in Riverside. We have been to see it a few times in the years we have been out in California but it has been about  7 years or so. The Mission Inn is adorned with over 4.5 million lights and over 400 animated figures. It gets larger every time we go. They now block off some of the streets which makes it much more pedestrian friendly.

click photo to enlarge		 Karen's sister was in town and wanted to enjoy the festivities so off we went to Riverside. We arrived before sunset and walked around the Inn and through it. Then we had dinner while the sun went down and the lights came on. Then a walk around the Inn again to enjoy the lights. Definitely a sight to see.
