They had this car show in Upland a couple years back and Karen was in Ohio so I wanted her to see it. They don't have this one every year so when I saw it was back in Upland again, we went. The little Subaru Sambar trucks came from the factory that way. You can still by them today. They were made specifically for the Japanese market. I mean, a tow truck this tiny, is for countries that only have little cars.

The Isetta was first an Italian car, then it was owned by BMW and they put one of their motorcycle engines in it starting with a 250cc engine, then a 300cc and finally a 600cc. When I was a boy one of the neighbors had owned one and then they just put it in the woods by their house to rot. We boys would get in it and play. Hmm wonder if it is still there 50 years later.
