Since embarking on my journey to short term memory loss by retiring in early... um when was that now..? Oh right, December. We go out for a walk each day of 2 to 4 miles. After a winter storm that dumped snow in the mountains I took these pictures with my iPhone. |

The Colonies development, next to us has these percolation basins to catch rain water and allow it to percolate down to recharge the underground aquifers. It makes for a very pretty walk and there is a large number of different birds that frequent the area. The mountains with a fresh coat of snow are very pretty. |
