After the wonderful day at the Cog Railway and the wonderful hotel we went to the town of North Conway where we would board the Conway Scenic Railroad Notch train. Like the previous day our group would have its own car and we would eat a box lunch on the train. Today we really start seeing some good color and some of the prettiest views for the entire trip. First we had 90 minutes to go shopping in the town of North Conway before boarding the train. The train ride started out kind of boring but the further we went up in elevation we started seeing more and more color. By the time we got up to the notch the trees were beautiful. After the train we went to the capitol of Vermont and stopped nearby at a Maple Sugar processing plant. It was for sure the largest operation we have seen. |

The hotel this night was the Stowhoff Inn. This was a very unique property indeed with a lot of possibilities. The food they served us was a turkey dinner and it was quite good. The picture with the picnic tables is from our balcony. |
