Living Desert Zoo and Gardens

click photo to enlarge		 When we first moved to California we used to get a yearly pass to this place. It was fairly reasonable then for the family pass. But now it is $99.95 and we used to pay $29.00 for it. Anyway Bank of America has a wonderful program for its customers called Museums on Us. The first full weekend o every month there are museums all around the country that are free. So we go to the Living Desert Museum about every other year using this. The Living Desert is always changing and expanding so every time you go it is a bit different.

click photo to enlarge		 I love trying to get close and get the animals eyes. Goats have odd looking rectangular pupils. Since we get in free we always get tickets for the tram to ride all over the park. It is always fun to go visit and see the changes.
