Gator Park Airboat Tours

click photo to enlarge		 The Everglades National Park authorizes three concessions to provide airboat tours within the park and we chose Gator Park because of the wildlife show after your airboat ride. Yeah the guide at the show had some hokey jokes but you do get to see Gators up close and learn a lot about them. You can also hold a small gator and take your picture with them for a small fee.

click photo to enlarge		 The airboat ride is about 20 minutes or so and it is not all at high speeds in fact very little of it is at speed. Going through the canal out to the Everglades is slow and occasionally the engine is off so you can view the park inhabitants and hear your guide. We enjoyed the airboat ride and the wildlife show afterwards and would do it again.
