Kennebunkport Maine

click photo to enlarge		 Kennebunkport is a place I had heard of when the Bush's were in office and we did drive past the Bush compound. For sure the town had some money because there were an awful lot of very large boats. Our trip to New England was a canned tour and not one I had put together. On this trip we will ride 4 different trains and cover all 5 states in New England in 7 days so obviously not much time in any single state. Kennebunkport was a very pretty little costal town in southern Maine.

click photo to enlarge		 We spent the night at a small family owned motel and feasted on Lobster rolls for dinner. We also walked about a mile down to the beach to watch the sunset. During this week long trip it would be our 27th anniversary and we always used to love to go to Lake Erie and watch the sunset. We learned there are two towns, Kennebunk and Kennebunkport. Port being the towns port.
