Flickr is now limiting the number of photos I can have so these will age out in a year or so.

We have been living in California now for 18 years so I thought it was about time we visited the capital city. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. We were staying in the historic district so walked to everything. When we decided to go to the capital we had the shuttle at the hotel take us to it. We also had some good food in the historic district and visited some really good museums like the California State Railroad Museum. We took a river cruise on the Sacramento River.

We also rented a Jump Bike by Uber. These are electric assisted bikes. They are so easy to pedal and the electric motor does most of the work. Riding them for an hour cost us just under $5 each. They make a great way to get around the city. The capital building was also very nice and interesting. Much of it has been restored to what it looked like when it was first built and we took a guided tour.
