The Broad

The Broad opened in September of 2015 and was financed by philanthropist Eli Broad. It is on Grand Avenue in downtown LA next to the Disney Concert Hall. Entrance to the museum is free but if you want to go it is highly recommend that you get timed tickets on line. The line for walk up visitors can be pretty long. The building itself is worth seeing as it is quite unique inside and out. We rode the Metro train to Union Station then rode the DASH bus to The Broad, a great way to go, no hassles, no parking fees.

The picture next to the flag is the Infinity Mirrored Room-The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away. If you want to see this as soon as you enter The Broad ask where you sign up. You will get an approximate time and they will text you when your time is near. Then you wait in line and you only get 45 seconds in the room then they open the door and you exit. We ate lunch across the street at The Colburn Cafe and the food was pretty good. There are other museums and plenty of places to eat in the area.
