After visiting the family in Alabama we flew out of Atlanta. On our way to Atlanta we we stopped in Columbus Georgia for a few hours. They had a National Civil War Naval Museum that was very well done and very interesting. When you think of the Civil War you don't typically think of ships and the reality is they did play an important part in the Civil War. The docents at the museum gave us a lot of information and history of the role the navy played in the war. We also visited the Coca Cola Space Science Center.

We are lunch at Momma Goldberg's downtown on Broadway. Sitting outside eating we watched the world go by and were very surprised to see how few people we saw walking and driving that were looking at phones, almost nobody. We found the town very charming, pretty and there are still a number of things we did not see. There were also people rafting and fishing in the Chattahoochee River.
