While in St. Anthony we took a boat tour for Icebergs to an area called Iceberg Alley. There is a web site for tracking icebergs so we knew we were going to see them. What I didn’t expect, was just how incredibly beautiful they were. In Alaska we went up to Hubbard Glacier and watched it calving. But for whatever reason they just weren't as pretty as these were.

The icebergs we saw here, in Newfoundland, were 10 to 15,000 years old and originated in Greenland probably a year ago. They captured a piece of one of them and brought it on board, so those who wanted to try it could. After the boat trip, we went over to see Fox Point Light Station. If the only building is a Lighthouse it is called that, but if there are ancillary buildings, it is called a Light Station.
