click photo to enlarge	Well, the pandemic is still going strong and California still has safer at home orders, although restaurants were able to have sit down dining for a few weeks. It has since been closed again. It has now been 17 weeks and about every other week we take the car out for a long drive to use some gas in order that it doesn't gum up and become stale. This time we met friends who live in the mountains at the Crestline Soaring Societies Glider Launch. We kept our distance from each other and wore masks but it was nice as this was the first time in 4 months now we got together with friends.
click photo to enlarge	We were also lucky enough that there was a glider there that we got so see launch. He was also a bit new at it and I could see it as he moved the glider up near the edge and also as he took off watching him fly he was certainly not very smooth. To see a movie of him click here.
