Well, as I write this we have been told to stray at home now for the last 9 weeks. This is the second time in this period I have taken the car out for a drive just to move some gasoline through it. So we have been following orders for the most part but hey, once in a while ya just got to get out. We drove up into the San Gabriel Mountains past Wrightwood to Table Mountain. It was hot at the house and up by the ski resort it was a wonderful 62 degrees. |

The rocks in the panoramic shot below are called Mormon rock because when the Mormon settlers first arrived in the area they camped near the rocks. We limit our drives to 2 to 2-1/2 hours maximum because there are no places open to make a pit stop. Fast food restaurants are only drive through. No bathrooms open. |
