Lake Mead National Recreation Area

 

click photo to enlarge		 We had a rented motor home and spent our first night at the Lake Mead Recreation Area. You can see a video on it at this link. It was a very hot day with temperatures hovering around 100. The campground was very nice with large spots so it was no problem for a novice rookie like me to park the camper. That night we were treated to a full moon rise over the mountains and the lake. Very beautiful to watch.

click photo to enlarge		 The next morning I cooked breakfast outside on my old Coleman stove. LOL my daughter recognized the stove when she saw the video and told her son grandpa used to cook her breakfast in the park on that stove. She was absolutely right it was the same Coleman stove. Karen got to enjoy sunrise breakfast overlooking Lake Mead.
