Buckskin Mountain State Park

 

 

click photo to enlarge		 Buckskin Mountain State Park is just outside Parker Arizona alongside the Colorado River on Arizona's western edge. Buckskin Mountain State Park has a scenic escape for outdoor enthusiasts. The park has beautiful views of the Buckskin Mountains and Colorado River, with opportunities for both relaxation and recreation. You can camp under the stars, or in a motor home, launch your boat for a day on the water, or hike the desert trails.

click photo to enlarge		 We just love Arizona State and County Parks. We find them to be some of the best campgrounds around. But then we could care less about a pool and some of the other tings people with kids want. All we want are electric, water and sewer. The campsites tend to be some of the largest too because they are no in it to make profit, just be self sustaining. In the top picture I circled our rig. I was out hiking the Buckskin mountain trails.
