Having toured The Arcosanti Project, I was drawn to Cosanti Originals, the gallery and former residence of architect Paolo Soleri. Soleri passed away in 2013, but his legacy lives on at Cosanti Originals, located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Intrigued by Soleri's vision realized at Arcosanti, I wanted to see the place he called home. |

We were lucky enough to get there just as they were doing a pour of molten bronze to make bells. The use a special sand for their molds and as the pictures show they lift a heated crucible of bronze out of an oven and two man pour by hand into the molds. It was very interesting to watch and also see the architecture at Cosanti. |
