Sequim, Washington, often referred to as the "Sunshine Capital of the Olympic Peninsula," is a charming coastal town nestled in the shadow of the Olympic Mountains. Known for its mild climate and abundance of sunshine, Sequim offers a peaceful and picturesque setting. The town is surrounded by lush forests, serene lakes, and stunning beaches, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.

It is also well known for its lavender farms and it turns out 2 days after we left they were having their annual Lander festival. This actually worked out well for us because the farms were sprucing up and getting prepared. The picture of the farm shown is Purple Haze Lavender Farm located on Bellbottom rd. While there we also went into Olympic National Park on Hurricane Ridge. A friend of ours, who left us too soon, moved to Sequim and used to volunteer at the local radio station doing a DJ gig. John loved doing the radio and also loved the climate in Sequim. After visiting their we understand why he liked it so much. We miss you John.
