Tillamook Oregon

Our Campground was actually just outside Tillamook at Netarts Bay and right on the water. We of course had to go to the Tillamook Creamery for ice cream. There were 4 counters serving it and the lines were crazy long, 30 minutes or more each. We ate ice cream and sampled cheese and bought Tillamook Creamery souvenirs.

While in Oregon we ate plenty of seafood. When tide was low there were always people out clamming. We also went to the Tillamook Air Museum which is in an old blimp hanger known as hanger B which is the largest clear span wooden structure in the world. We enjoyed the cool weather along the Washington and Oregon coasts knowing it was in the low 100s at home. We also drove the 3 capes scenic loop, a 70 mile drive along the coast.
