Train Layout

 

 

click photo to enlarge		 Boys and their Toys, this is by far the largest and most extensive train layout I have ever seen. A friend of ours has been working on this ever since he retired maybe 8 years ago. He goes every day until about noon. But this is not by one person there are about 8 people who do work on it. One does wiring, one does buildings, one does signage and another does roadways etc...

click photo to enlarge		 My understanding is before any major change is done to the layout it is done by a committee consisting of all of them. The owner of the building though has final say if they can't reach a consensus. The bridges in the are all brass and thee are a few pretty large bridges. Many of the names and buildings are real life places. The number of houses and work in this are just incredible.
