We recently attended our second Lazy Daze caravan. These gatherings were initiated by the factory in the mid-1950s and were originally exclusive to original Lazy Daze owners only. The group holds events at local campgrounds across the country.

Initially restricted to original owners, the caravans eventually opened up to all Lazy Daze enthusiasts. We enjoy attending these events to see how others have customized their motorhomes, inspiring ideas for our own. It's common to find Lazy Daze models from the 1980s and 90s there and they still look almost new.

Lazy Daze motorhomes have a distinctive retro style, making them easily recognizable on the road. The older rigs have 3 horizontal bars and the newer one, like ours have what they called swoops. Ours is the picture below with a hot air balloon above the back corner.
