Chloride, Arizona, is a small, historic town located in Mohave County, about 25 miles northwest of Kingman. Founded in the 1860s, it is the oldest continuously inhabited mining town in the state. It is one of our favorite places to visit in Arizona. The food at Yesterdays has always been very good.

You can explore remnants of the old mines, browse local shops, and enjoy reenactments of gunfights on weekends. The nearby Cerbat Mountains offer scenic hiking trails and stunning desert views. Despite its small population, Chloride maintains a unique charm, attracting history buffs, artists, and travelers seeking a glimpse into Arizona’s mining past.
