One of our favorite things about travel is being able to eat
local foods that you don't find other places. The
White Turkey Drive‑in
in Conneaut, Ohio, is a beloved roadside diner and summer tradition that’s
been serving classic American drive-in fare since
1952. Founded by Eddie and
Marge Tuttle — who named it after the White Holland turkeys they raised on
their farm — it keeps the spirit of the 1950s alive with original root beer
barrels, jukeboxes playing oldies, and a simple menu that hasn’t changed much
over the decades. They are only open from Mothers day weekend to Labor day.
oh.. and the food is great too. |
